HEADING INTO BLACK
A Valeyard Introspection Fanmix

Fandom: Doctor Who

Subject: The Valeyard

Warning: Spoilers if you don't know who the Valeyard is.

Basic Idea: So, the Valeyard is an entity cryptically described as the personification of all that is evil within the Doctor, who was brought forth as his prosecuter in the "Trial of a Time Lord" arc. Now, this guy apparently came about between the Doctor's twelth and final incarnations. The Valeyard, personality wise, is apparently a hardcore manipulator, and he's willing to do anything to ensure his own existence, even if it means getting his past self executed in the process. The major difference between the Doctor and the Valeyard is that the Valeyard doesn't stop pulling the strings.

Since we're currently on the Doctor's eleventh incarnation in the series, I've been thinking about how this guy may make his appearance in the new series, and how everybody else may react to this change (you know, the "Children of Time" and all of the Doctor's other allies).

This mix is based on the theory that the Valeyard is basically the Doctor gone bad (or at least the Doctor losing his moral compass completely), and it somewhat follows his downward spiral.

SEND IN THE CLOWNS
A Naboo the Enigma/The Doctor crack!mix

Fandoms: Doctor Who, The Mighty Boosh

Basic Idea: Naboo and the Doctor were together, a long time ago. Both of them screwed stuff up, the Time War and the Doctor's exile happened, and whatever they had mostly fell apart, not that either of them really tried to fix it.

So... they just run into each other randomly, maybe Torchwood needs some shaman awesomeness and the TARDIS threw the Doctor into some nearby cornfield.

They reconize each other on sight, Naboo reading the Doctor's aura or something. It's been a long time.

Naboo: Oh #$@#%, he's the last person in the universe I want to see right now. Is my turban on straight? I need a drink.
The Doctor: This is awkward...On the plus side, he hasn't cursed me yet! Maybe we can work something out, I miss his hash cakes.

Naboo's still pretty annoyed, and the Doctor's pretty messed up due to the Master perishing and him suddenly being (pretty much) the only Time Lord again.

But they're both pretty nostalgic.
